The mission of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is to protect the safety a
welfare of the citizens of Wayne County while operating with the highest level
of integrity and professionalism at all times. We will strive to enhance the
trust of Wayne County through transparency and provide exceptional service
that our citizens deserve.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office operates from offices in the Wayne Co
Justice Center, which was constructed in 1977. The Wayne County Justice
Center includes a multi-jurisdictional communication center providing radio
communications to local law enforcement agencies and fire departments,
addition to specialized services for the hearing impaired community, National
Weather Service and Disaster Services Agency.
In August 1989, Wayne County became an enhanced 911 community to better
serve its citizens. Every division of the Sheriff’s Office is staffed 24 hours a day.
The Wayne County Republican Party is here to support the conservative citizens of our county as they fight alongside their elected officials to work towards a brighter and more secure future for all of Wayne County and all of America.
