Chairman

The Deputy County Chairman's primary responsibility is to help the chairman perform his/her duties. Other responsibilities and duties of the Deputy County Chairman are as follows:

• Assume, with the County Chairman’s responsibilities in the event of the absence of the County Chairman; and
• Any additional duty or responsibility the County Chairman may assign.

Charlie has served as a public servant in Wayne County since 1978. He currently represents East Union Township on the Wayne County Republican Central Committee and was elected as the Deputy Chair of both the Central and Executive Committees. He also serves as one of two Republican members of the Wayne County Board of Elections and is a Registered Election Official (REO). He and his wife still live in East Union Township where they raised their three grown children.
